September 2, 1926

Mr. J.Wm Gayner
29- 7th. St.,
Salem, N.J.

Sept. 2, 1926.

Dear Mr. Gayner:

Your letter of the 28th. alt. received and I enjoyed hearing from you and was glad to learn that you are established so well now and getting along nicely.

I have been working on the Chamber of Commerce here as you suggest and hope they can do something. I have had some correspondence with a Mr. Thomas Owens of Toledo, Ohio, do you know of him. It looks to me like a good prospect. The name sounds good anyway. Write me if you do know anything about him. I might refer him to you later.

The man here who is trading for the owners of the Lynchburg plant is Mr. R. W. Massie, located in the peoples Bank Bldg. here. He is the one who handles any deal that comes up and he is a very fine man. Write him if you have anything to take up with them.

Old Lynchburg (cat) died last week and I was sorry that you were not here to give him proper burial. He crawled up in the drain and we could not reach him.

With best regards, I am,

Your very truly,

[W. H. Loyd]
